That’s exactly what Champak’s Pawfect Party felt like on 11th April, celebrating National Pet Day, a day full of giggles, stories, and lots of love for our furry (and not-so-furry) friends!

There were happy faces, wagging imaginations, and Champak stories that made everyone laugh and think of one thing: animals are our friends.

Somewhere between the stories and smiles, something special happened. A tiny promise. A pinky promise. Little fingers locked together as everyone promised to be kinder, to give water to thirsty strays, share a little food, and never be unkind to animals.

Because caring doesn’t have to be big. It can be as simple as keeping a bowl of water outside your home, a gentle pat, or just not scaring a small animal.

Parna, a cheerful five-year-old, smiled and said, “If we pat them on the head, they become our friends.” And maybe that’s the best part. Because when you are kind to animals, you don’t just make their world better, you make yours happier too.

So next time you see a pet or a stray, what will your pinky promise be?
