Job Summary: Junior Designer assists in creating visual content for the publication, including layout design, illustrations, and graphics.  Work closely with senior designers and editors to ensure that the magazine’s content is engaging and age-appropriate for children. Additionally, they may assist with photo editing, typography, and maintaining brand consistency across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand project requirements and concepts for creating online content.
2. Produce final design solutions (like Social media Posts, banners, ads etc)
3. Pitch creative ideas
4. Collaborate with team members to launch projects
5. Take on special design tasks (e.g. color correction)

Requirements:

1. 0-3 years of experience as a Junior Designer
2. Experience with design softwares and graphics editing tools like Adobe Creative Suite ( Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign.
3. Good communication skills and keen eye for detail.
4. Understanding of visual elements (layout, type and fonts)
5. Teamwork skills
6. Time management and multitasking abilities
7. Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude
8. BFA/Certification in Design, Computer sciences or related field.
