Story 1: The Tale of Ratty’s Tail
Ratty the mouse lived in Anandvan with his cousin, Chinky the chipmunk. Chinky had come from London two months ago. One day, Ratty was sitting in his home, feeling sad.

Up north, in the Himalayas, everyone was busy getting ready for winter sleep. It is the time of low or no activity when the weather is harsh and cold.

Tina came to visit her grandma. Grandma’s house was beautiful, like a fairy tale castle with lovely jasmine and morning glory creepers climbing on the walls and covering most of the balcony.
